All work and no play...

Yes, i have started work again. working 50%. And as usual the work is f u n. I have been away for so log that I had developed a urge to come back to the office. And yes it is still fun. I'm working with some unix scripts that will convert some performance data tables. Well sounds a bit boring but I like it.

All play and no work makes jack a mere toy.

Yes I'm still playing SRO (Silk Road) and i'm at level 87 now. I'm now looking for next game to play, SRO has only 90 levels so it's time to find somthing new. I will not play WOW, it's to quite to play. Lots of quite characters makes my stomach turn.Hehe.

Unwanted hole

I received my new computer this week. The company where I purchased my computer from deliver the package i just 2 workdays, that is what i call good service. Th company is NetOnNet and it is a Scandinavian company.

I'm also trying to get well from my cold i had received a couple days ago. It takes longer time for me to get well from illnesses like cold or other minor conditions and always i get i hard time to breathe when i have an infection in my body. An that's normal for transplanted lungs so I'm not worried.

And I have been at ear-nose-neck specialist and I have been promised a operation form my hole in my neck. It is a hole after the tracheotomy I had when i was in hospital for the operation of my lungs. At last i will have this hole closed it is 3 years ago i had it and I'm glad to get it done now.

It has bean hard to cough and to do other things without the hole make obscene sounds. Now it will be sown together again and that's a good thing for me this summer.

My first video

Scanning the You-Tube i found that many players recorded themselves playing there favorite game. The movies are edited and quiet good. I wanted to do that to so I recorded myself playing my favorite game SilkRoad.

I have been home form work due to illness so I had time to test this trend. I used Microsoft's software to edit the clips and here hare the result:

I have been up playing Silkroad tonight. Yes, I know it is stupid to play all night I'm working today. Well no harm done, I have finished the script that was due to today so I can take it easy today. It was a script reading OVPA data and convert it to a file for graphical presentation. Easy if you know awk and shell scripting on HP-UX. Well this is the firs time I work with OVPA (OpenView Performance Agent)

Yippii

The spring is here and i have some money in my pocket. Yes it is true but i got some extra cache from my insurance company. I had not received the right amount and that was some money waiting for me. Yippii, ok not allot but anyway some green. And I have not been well off latly so it was great to receive some.

I'm ,as usual, working out and trying to at least work half-time at my workplace. And I'm loving it, now i remember why i was so eiger to return to work, I love my work. Or rather I love the things i work with.

Primal attendances.

New month and the start is not as I expected. Not a big problem tho but its regarding money. I have to get an affirmation from the doctors office that I'm not able to work for the next three moths to receive my insurance-money. And as usual the office have problem accommodating my request in time. The problem was that I requested this in January and it is April already and no document. Late the document was produced at last and that after I had made an ass of myself yelling at the staff at the doctors office. Sometimes It is hard to remain cool and I explode in a most unfortunate way. Anyway the battle was won and I had received the document.

I is hard to always stay humane and civilised when dealing with people how demands attention like animals in a herd.

Well that's that and the problem was not over there, no even the insurance company put up with a irritating manner. In this case the office staff had forgotten to pay my money this month, something about -" oo, I missed that one".

It's the end oft the month and I'm sitting at the kitchen-table. The bills on the table is waiting to be payed and I can hear in the distance my inner ape roar from the depths of my spinal-core.

Old Boxes.

I have received my boxes from storage. My work-friends had packed my things and stored them when I got ill. There is a lot of stuff to go through. It's just like home, you collect lots of stuff in time. But this time it is fun to go through all the stuff and it makes me remember old times.

In one way it is a good feeling too, I have always longed for this moment and it makes it feel fore real this time.

Most of the stuff is old and I have to trow out a lot of it, and that feels good to. It's almost as fun as getting things. When your done with the stuff you just dump it off, and I can dump allot of my old things.

I found the books i was looking for. That was one goal, to find them was always on my mine. My colleague was supposed to bring me the books when i was relay ill and she had scheduled an appointment to the hospital. I had hoped to get them so I could have somethings to read when i was in respirator. But in the commotion at the time she forgot them, and I cant blame her there was probably hard just to come to the hospital for a visit.

Yes that was jet another goal on my way back.

Spring at the country side.

Its time to visit the country side again to meet the spring. As usual I will take some pictures and probably i will spend most of the time online at SilkRoad. Wen retching level 56 it is hard to not play every day.

Its time to plan for this years crop too, I have to decide what to plant for the garden already. Usually it is tomatoes paprika and jalapenos and this year i will not have the same amount that i usually have planted. This spring i will not have the same time to plant when I'm planing to go back to work.

Movies I plan to see :"SpiderWick Chronicles" och "The Chronicles of Riddick".

Questions about file sharing

I have received many questions about file-sharing and who it works.

As a true administrator i started writing a manual how to begin file-sharing. I called the document "Treasure-map to The Pirate Bay". I'm happy to help out anybody how wants learn about file-sharing. The document is "live" so i will edit it on the way.

File sharing has grown, everybody i know is talking about it now. And people are playing online more to , many are playing WOW. I have started trying to play Archlord. Fun game with great graphics and relay playable. Archlord will be my next game, after I'm done with SilkRoad. (Yes, I'm a true SilkRoad fan)

Latest "screener"( cinema copied movie) is "Jumper". This move will come up at theatres the late February. The story is intriguing and i can not wait to see it "real" on cinema.

Short description so far.

Here is a short description what I Have been writing about in my Swedish blog.

I started this blog after long time sick relief from my job. The reason was that i had developed a sickness year 2004, Dermatomyositis. And in the aftermath of this condition my lungs got knocked out and I needed some new ones. I had a Lung-transplantation done 2005 and I have been recovering from that so far.

I have been writing about what i have done under this period an reported about almost every thing and nothing particular.

Favorites topics: The hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy, Wikipedia, Google all application, Unix , Ubuntu, Solaris, SilkRoad, Nature walks, and more.

I will also rank some of the movies i have seen under this period, and i will continue with this in the future. I have a 5degree scale when i rank movies (1-5 stars, well I rank everything with this scale).

For the moment I'm at work and I'm sorting out my mailbox. I have a trial period where i test my ability to work full-time again. This is one part of the well developed Swedish insurance benefits we have in this country. God i Love this Country.
